Annandale Street is a residential care home where we support eight older people who are experiencing mental health issues other than dementia. Based in the Govanhill area of Glasgow, the service offers single room en-suite accommodation and shared communal areas; our staffing ratios reflect the individualised care that we provide.
In order to be referred for admission to Annandale Street either you, your doctor or your Community Psychiatric Nurse need to contact your local Social Work Office.
A Care Manager will then be allocated to you; they will carry out an assessment of your needs. If you are being referred for admission, they will also carry out a financial assessment to determine how much you will contribute towards the cost of living in the Annandale Street Project.
After this process, and following your referral from social work, staff will arrange for you to come and visit the home. We will talk to you about the home and what happens there, and find the best way to help you move in.
